IVL Foundation Grants Three Million Baht to Four Medical Foundations Fighting the Third Wave of COVID-19

The IVL Foundation granted three million baht to four medical foundations to support communities during the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donations were given to Ramathibodi Foundation and Siriraj Foundation to supply medical treatment and purchase equipment in preventing the further spread of COVID-19. The IVL Foundation also supported Phramongkutklao Hospital Foundation’s SWAB mobile units, which will provide proactive tests for people living in high-risk communities, as well as enhance the safety of medical staff in their duties.

In addition to aiding the COVID-19 situation in Thailand, the IVL Foundation also granted a fund to the Thai Red Cross Society which will provide aid to the Indian Red Cross Society. Moreover, 300 oxygen concentrators were directly donated to dedicated hospitals caring for infected patients in India.

Mrs. Suchitra Lohia, Chairwoman of IVL Foundation, said, “The IVL Foundation aims to continue supporting medical personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are aware of the rising impact from recent waves of the pandemic, both in Thailand and India, which still needs a lot of help. Therefore, cooperation to support medical institutes and people in communities is vital.”
