Centara Ubon Unveils “Bread & Butter” Rebranding: Embracing Fine-Casual Dining with Authentic Western Flavors

Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand – Centara Ubon is rebranding its restaurant to Bread & Butter Dining & Social Club, offering authentic Western cuisine in a Fine-Casual Dining style. The new campaign, Centara Ubon x Local Hero, collaborates with local Michelin-rated partners to bring renowned dishes to tourists, enhancing the city’s potential. Bar takeover events will feature drinks from three famous Ubon cocktail bars, positioning Bread & Butter as the best Western dining and hangout spot in Ubon Ratchathani.

Mr. Phoom Chirathivat, Head of Hotel Investments and Operations for Central Pattana plc, said: We decided to rebrand the hotel’s restaurant to cater to urban lifestyles. The rebranding introduces over 100 Western dishes prepared by experienced chefs, including Chef Watchara Sutthiwong, who has worked with Michelin-starred restaurants. Bread & Butter offers a relaxed yet attentive dining experience at affordable prices, aiming to be Ubon Ratchathani’s best Western restaurant and hangout spot.

Centara Ubon rebranding elevates the dining experience for locals to celebrate special moments with family and friends while boosting the local economy through collaboration with local businesses. The goal is to attract a diverse customer base, focusing on Early Gen Z, Young Adults, and Local Elite Groups. Bread & Butter’s fine attention to detail in sourcing premium ingredients ensures top-quality dishes, including fresh pasta, Neapolitan-style pizzas, and other Italian specialties.

Signature dishes include:

  • Bread & Butter: Our signature welcome dish features an assortment of freshly baked breads, including ciabatta, baguette, breadsticks, sourdough, and focaccia, accompanied by a selection of house-made butters.
  • Fresh Pasta: Made in-house daily, our pasta dishes showcase the culinary expertise of our chefs. Choose from a variety of pasta shapes, including spaghetti, tagliatelle, pappardelle, and squid ink pasta, tossed in flavorful sauces like Salmon Pesto and Beef Ragu.
  • Neapolitan-Style Pizza: Experience authentic Neapolitan pizza with our sourdough base, crafted using our own yeast and Italian 00 flour, baked in a traditional wood-fired oven. Indulge in our Brisket Pizza, featuring smoked brisket, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and jalapeños.
  • In the evenings, Bread & Butter transforms into “The Clay,” a vibrant bar experience. Partnering with Ubon’s celebrated cocktail bars Syndicate UBP, HYDE Bar, and THE CLOSET COCKTAIL BAR, The Clay offers signature cocktails crafted by award-winning bartenders. The venue also hosts Bar Takeover events with three renowned Ubon cocktail bars, featuring professional bartenders and live music. Centara Ubon organizes major events focused on coffee, wine, and cocktails, enhancing guests’ experiences throughout the day in collaboration with local heroes and brand partners.

Centara Ubon supports the local community with the “Local Hero” project, collaborating with renowned local venues. Bread & Butter hosts pop-up counters featuring Michelin-recognized dishes, showcasing Ubon’s culinary excellence. To celebrate its rebranding, Centara Ubon is hosting a year-round series of events: Coffee Cupping Session by God Father: Explore exclusive beans at Centara Ubon.
