DITP Collaborates with TCC and KM to Organise Two Major Events: “THAIFEX – HOREC ASIA” and “THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA” in 2025
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) and Koelnmesse (KM), is set to host two major consecutive events in 2025: “THAIFEX – HOREC ASIA 2025”, all-inclusive trade show in Asia for the hotel, restaurant, and catering industries, and “THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2025”, the largest and most comprehensive food and beverage trade show in the region.
Mr. Phusit Ratanakul Sereroengrit, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, announced that next year’s THAIFEX – HOREC ASIA will mark its second edition, with a focus on showcasing products from the hotel, restaurant, and catering industries, collectively known as the HoReCa sector. Meanwhile, THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA, which has been held for over three decades, continues to enjoy strong recognition in the global food and beverage industry. The two events in 2024 generated a combined trade value of 100 billion baht, encouraging the organisers to proceed with both events in 2025.
THAIFEX – HOREC ASIA 2025 will be held from 5th to 7th March 2025 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. This event will serve as a vital trading platform that will boost Thailand’s potential as a hub for the hotel, restaurant, and catering industries in Asia. It will also generate employment and revitalise the Thai economy. Moreover, the event will place a strong emphasis on technology, innovation, and essential management systems related to the hotel, restaurant, and catering industries.
THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2025 is scheduled from 27th to 31st May 2025 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, with the aim of representing Thailand’s food industry capabilities, enhancing global awareness of Thai products, as well as fostering confidence in and consumption of Thai goods. Importantly, this event will create opportunities and support Thai businesses of all sizes—large enterprises, SMEs, and startups—to enter into new markets and succeed in international markets, contributing to a further expansion of Thailand’s export value.
“DITP, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Koelnmesse will pool their experience and expertise in organising international trade shows to ensure the success of both events and to achieve the events’ goals“, said Mr. Phusit.
