Wine enthusiasts embarked on a captivating journey through Puente Alto, a terroir that has earned the coveted 100-point rating for its remarkable wines, and discovered Chile’s finest wines at Puente Alto Wine Masterclass and Five-Course Fine Wine Dinner hosted by Concha Y Toro and IWS Thailand at Sirimahannop, Asiatique The Riverfront, the iconic social venue on the Chao Phraya River.
During the exclusive Puente Alto Wine Masterclass, discerning guests were presented with an extraordinary fusion of flavours and knowledge of ultra-premium wines including the nobility of a terroir, Don Melchor 2020, the prestigious 97-point by JamesSuckling.com, Chile’s first iconic wine which is the result of the perfect blending. The style and character of Don Melchor are undoubtedly tied to the meticulous, detailed, and tireless work of the enological team led by Enrique Tirado. This new vintage comprises 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 1% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot, the secrets of which were unravelled by Mr. Fazil Mohamad, Brand Ambassador at Viña Concha y Toro as a Wine Master. Also, Marques de Casa Concha Heritage, a Bordeaux blend that seeks to faithfully express its origin and all of Concha y Toro’s viticultural tradition and heritage, which is one of Chile’s most distinguished wines, was specially curated for this event. At the Five-Course Fine Wine Dinner, the guests were enchanted by an exclusive selection of Chile’s award-winning wines paired with extraordinary cuisine on a stunning historic ship, Sirimahannop.
