D.I.Y. Thailand, in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Science, Kasetsart University, Sriracha campus, Chonburi province, encouraged young students’ creative ideas by holding an Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) planning project under the theme of a year-end campaign. The project aimed to support students in showcasing their creativity in developing marketing plans while allowing them to apply real-life case studies to their future work.
Mr. Ruksakul Cheewakoset, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nipa Niruttikul, course coordinator and instructor, together with Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing at MR. D.I.Y. Thailand, served as the judges for the project.
Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing at MR. D.I.Y. Thailand, said: “MR. D.I.Y. recognizes the importance of encouraging knowledge gained from real-world experiences, which is the reason for launching the IMC plan project under the theme of a year-end campaign. The campaign is based on a real case study from MR. D.I.Y., and the project, which takes place every year, allows the 4th-year marketing students from the Faculty of Management Science, Kasetsart University, Sriracha campus, Chonburi province, to showcase their creativity, systematic management thinking, and effective budget allocation while gaining real-world work experience that prepares them for future professional careers. We hope that this project by MR. D.I.Y. will help develop quality marketers for Thailand, improving the quality of the Thai workforce sustainably.”
D.I.Y. also granted cash vouchers with a total value of 14,000 baht and souvenirs from MR. D.I.Y. to over 70 students who participated in the project.
