KPI renders its support with the fund of 200,000 baht to the Thai Para Ice Hockey team
KPI presents an award of 200,000 baht to the Thai National Para Ice Hockey team after winning the 2nd place in the World Para Ice Hockey Championships C-Pool.
Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana presided over the tournament and also gave a plaque of honor to Pawarisa Sukkasem, Senior Director of Corporate Communications as representative of Krungthai Panich Insurance Public Company Limited or KPI, one of the sponsors of the 2024 Bangkok World Para Ice Hockey Championships C- Pool hosted by the Sport Association for the Disabled of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King (SPADT) which took place at the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena.
Pawarisa Sukkasem, Senior Director of Corporate Communications of KPI has reveled that the company has rendered its support with the fund of 200,000 baht to the Para Ice Hockey and Wheelchair Curling Thailand to be used for the training camp to prepare the athletes for the 2024 Bangkok World Para Ice Hockey Championships C- Pool tournament held at the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena.
The objective of the KPI in supporting the Para Ice Hockey team is in line with the company’s Sustainability Development Goal in promoting an equal society as well as boosting confidence of the athletes so that they recognize and believe in their own potential and provides them with opportunity to make reputation for the country.
As for the result of this tournament, Finland becomes the top winner follow by Thailand, Austria and Australia respectively.
