ARAYA – The Eastern Gateway, Thailand’s first fully-integrated smart industrial estate, has officially launched ARAYA Industrial and Logistics Hub. This new multi-functional ready-built factory and warehouse business model features adaptable spaces designed to serve as manufacturing facility and warehouse within a single location. The initiative drives the nation’s industrial and logistics sectors, reinforcing the project’s commitment to developing infrastructure for swift global supply chain adaptation and enhanced Thai competitive capabilities. It aligns with the Smart Industrial Estate policy and supports digital sector investment, positioning Thailand as a significant regional supply chain hub.

ARAYA Industrial and Logistics Hub’s ready-built factory and warehouse has a total building area of 23,639 sqm, comprising a 20,835 sqm warehouse space with an additional 2,804 sqm two-storey office space. The design accommodates both small and large logistics and 3PL businesses, as well as operations requiring speed, precision and complex management systems. Its building specifications meet international standards, supporting efficient operations, including:

• Building Structure: An internal clear height of 12 metres provides maximum storage capacity. The burnished floor has a load capacity of 3 tons/sqm, with a raised floor height of +1.30 metres to facilitate convenient goods loading and unloading.

• Comprehensive Loading and Unloading Systems: Features two loading bays, two dock levelers, and one ramp access.

• Traffic and Transportation Management: The project incorporates systematically designed internal traffic routes, with designated zones for trucks, employee vehicles, and parking areas, thereby enhancing safety and transportation efficiency. It accommodates both 6-wheeled trucks and large trailers.

• Sustainability and Energy Efficiency: The building is designed as a LEED certified Warehouse/Factory, utilizing energy-efficient LED 400 lux lighting, with natural light via skylight (translucent roof sheet) and natural, cross-flow ventilation. Insulated metal sheet roofing further contributes to energy reduction with low environmental impact.

• Office Space and Facilities: A two-story office space offers flexible functionality, serving as an office area and adaptable for use as a showroom, depending on business requirements.

ARAYA – The Eastern Gateway project is progressing well, with plans to expand its industrial estate area from 1,891 rai to more than double to 3,800 rai by 2026. This expansion serves to accommodate investments in key national target industries such as advanced manufacturing, logistics & supply chain, digital technology, and data-driven industry, aligning with Thailand’s new economic direction. The project has attracted leading global companies, including Infineon Technologies Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (IFMT) in the semiconductor sector, MR. D.I.Y. in logistics, prominent electronics firms and data centre groups from China and Taiwan, and leading food and beverage businesses from Europe, reinforcing our potential as a regional industrial and technology hub.
