Bridgestone Commends Success of Bridgestone Thailand Para Athletes in Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and Holds Inspirational Panels Discussion for Employees Under “Chase Your Dream” Concept

As a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, Bridgestone, led by Mr. Akihito Ishii, Managing Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., along with Sustainability and CSR Management, including Human Resources team organized a warm welcome back event and awards ceremony to commend the success of Thai Paralympian team who are also the members of Bridgestone Thailand Para Athletes and employees of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd.; Mr. Chaiwat Rattana (Para Athletics athlete), Mr. Worawut Saengampa (Boccia athlete) and Mr. Anusorn Chaichamnan (Shooting athlete) in conquering their dreams as well as bringing happiness and fame to Thailand from “Paris 2024 Paralympic Games”, held from August 28 to September 8, 2024.

On the occasion, Bridgestone also held a panel discussion to ignite power of achieving dreams, inspiring employees to meet and exchange experiences on overcoming obstacles and successfully pursuing their dreams with the three athletes. The event was filled with fun, under the concept of “Chase Your Dream.”

Bridgestone congratulated Bridgestone Thailand Para Athletes on their great success and thanked everyone in overcoming their limits in Paris 2024 Paralympic Games:

  • Mr. Chaiwat Rattana won a gold medal and set a record in the men’s 100-meter wheelchair racing, T34 class. This was his first gold medal of his life, and he also won a silver medal in the 800-meter wheelchair racing T34 class.
  • Mr. Worawut Saengampa won a gold medal in boccia, BC2 class.
  • Mr. Anusorn Chaichamnan achieved 6th rank in the final (top 8) of the 10-meter rifle prone competition, SH2 class, and finished 9th rank, just 0.4 points behind 8th rank in the 50-meter rifle prone competition.
