Central Pattana plc is joining hands with the Specialty Coffee Association of Thailand (SCATH) to launch ‘Thailand Coffee Hub 2024’ Year 3 at centralwOrld, the global landmark in the heart of Bangkok, before starting roadshows in major cities nationwide under the concept of ‘The Coffee universe: A Space of Endless Passion’, bringing together the most special experiences for all coffee lovers. Taste 30 types of the best Thai specialty coffee beans from the Thai Specialty Coffee Awards 2024 and participate in special workshops led by popular Thai coffee gurus from the Thai Specialty Coffee Association, who will share their expertise, knowledge and experience of the unique coffee brewing and drinking cultures from 13 countries around the world and more from 2-8 October 2024, with an extensive event area of over 1,500 m² throughout centralwOrld.

Ms. Kwankaew Sirijinda, Head of Asset Commercialization-Account Management, Central Pattana plc, said: “The Thailand Coffee Hub event receives great feedback every year thanks to our major partner: the Specialty Coffee Association of Thailand (SCATH) and more than 300 coffee partner brands. We are welcoming new friends – a group of coffee lovers aged 15-30 who show great interest in specialty coffee. Previously, this group of consumers would have visited the coffee event perhaps only to take photographs and create online content, but now they have shifted to seriously learning more about coffee, tasting and shopping for coffee beans and even equipment.”

Ms. Nutrada Kunavivattananon, President of the Specialty Coffee Association of Thailand (SCATH) said: “In the event this year, SCATH has prepared the best Thai specialty coffee beans from the Thai Specialty Coffee Awards 2024 for free tasting throughout the event and visitors are invited to join the coffee workshops (with donations) led by popular coffee gurus; when purchasing coffee beans worth 505 baht, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to flood victims in northern Thailand.”
