Spanning over 12,800 sqm, Stuttgart Automotive (Thailand)’s newest Porsche showroom integrates the latest “Destination Porsche” concepts and formats for an elevated customer experience.

The new Porsche Centre Bangna was officially inaugurated on 14 December 2024. During the evening event, Porsche Asia Pacific took the opportunity to unveil the one-off Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade for the first time in Thailand, kicking off the third segment of the car’s Southeast Asian tour.

“Porsche continues to grow strongly in Thailand,” said Mr. Hannes Ruoff, CEO Porsche Asia Pacific. “2024 has been a year of remarkable milestones for Thailand, from the announcement of the first regionally-assembled Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe, to the highly-anticipated Porsche Design Tower Bangkok and the branded pop-up concept Curvistan. Now, we add one more achievement into the list, with the opening of the spectacular new Porsche Centre Bangna. We look forward to elevating the Porsche ownership experience here in Thailand even further with our business partners.”

“We are delighted to announce that the new Porsche Centre Bangna is officially open,” said Mr. Somkiat Saekoo, President of Porsche Centre Bangna. “With outstanding facilities and highly-trained staff ready to deliver excellent customer service, we are confident that our team is capable of delivering better experiences to Porsche customers and fans in the Southeastern region of Bangkok and beyond.”

Mr. Winthorn Bunnag, Acting Managing Director of Porsche Thailand echoed this positive sentiment: “Porsche Thailand proudly welcomes its third Porsche Centre into the fold. In Stuttgart Automotive (Thailand) Co., Ltd. we have a trusted and proven business partner with more than 20 years of industry experience. Porsche customers and fans can rest assured that their dream sports cars will be receiving the most utmost levels of care.”

The “Destination Porsche” experience

Porsche Centre Bangna integrates “Destination Porsche” corporate architecture concepts for the first time in a Porsche Centre in Thailand. The exterior façade of the showroom features design elements of red over traditional silver, representing Porsche’s rich heritage, pioneering spirit and continuous innovation – values that are also embodied in every Porsche sports car.

It also incorporates energy-efficient features such as highly insulated roofs, walls, and glazing to reduce heat gain and ensure lower energy consumption. To decrease the reliance on non-renewable energy sources, Porsche Centre Bangna integrates rainwater harvesting and water-efficient fixtures. On its roof, solar cells with maximum capacity are also installed.

Inside, customers are warmly greeted by a spacious and modern showroom with a ‘Racing Line’ where new cars are lined up. The main display space can cater for up to nine display cars, with abundant natural light filling the space and highlighting the colourful cars on display.

The new showroom also boasts modular areas that can be seamlessly integrated and adapted to suit evolving needs. For example, a pocket of space can be converted into a “feature display” corner for a specific new car like the new and all-electric Macan. Depending on the changing needs of the showroom, it can be quickly and easily converted into a “Classic Corner” with an air-cooled 911 as the highlight.

Additionally, the showroom is equipped with cutting-edge digital features, including the latest Porsche Car Configurator and flexible spaces designed to accommodate a variety of purposes like co-working and showroom events.

A curated Porsche Lifestyle merchandise corner, with items like model cars, accessories and apparel specially imported from Germany, will also be available in the first half of 2025. This carefully selected range allows customers to express their passion or infuse the iconic Porsche spirit into their everyday life, with a seamless blend of luxury, performance, and style.

Porsche Service Bangna – Highest levels of training and service

With a vibrant community of new and classic Porsche sports cars in Thailand, Porsche Centre Bangna is well-equipped to service all models from the iconic German sports car brand, thanks to advanced facilities and highly-trained staff ready to optimise experiences for both maintenance and repair.

Tools and maintenance equipment are maintained to a high standard, a requirement for any Porsche service facility.

In addition, Porsche Centre Bangna boasts body and paint work bays equipped with VAS Certified Car-O-Liner body collision repair equipment, alongside temperature-controlled welding rooms – each designed from the ground up for optimal processing of steel and aluminium for body repairs.

Finally, a convenient one-stop service for car detailing is provided, including car coating, paint protection (PPF), window, sunroof and moonroof film application, interior touch-ups, and leather care.

The Porsche Service team consists of highly experienced team led by head technicians with over 10 years of expertise in Porsche vehicle maintenance, along with skilled technicians and body and paint specialists trained in Porsche-specific care. This structure allows Porsche Centre Bangna to manage up to 1,000 car services and 450 body and paint jobs each month, ensuring that all customers in Thailand receive due care and attention.

Celebrating the opening of Porsche Centre Bangna with a one-off Taycan

Porsche Centre Bangna officially opened its doors on 14 December 2024. The evening event was highlighted by the unveiling of the one-off Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade Sonderwunsch special in Thailand, as the car made its third and final stop along its Southeast Asian tour.

Together with the Porsche Asia Pacific team, the designers and paint experts at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur sought to reflect the vibrance and innovation of the Southeast Asia in their own craftsmanship, paying tribute to this important region with bespoke touches and mythical symbols.

For the first time ever, in the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade, Porsche has blended two Chromaflair effect paints. “Urban Bamboo”, a bright green with yellow and gold tones, and “Shifting Carbon”, a dark grey with black and blue tones, were chosen as the colour combination. It culminates in the transcendent name of the vehicle: Celestial Jade. Especially in Asia, jade is a noble and precious material that is rich in tradition and associated with happiness and longevity. Carbon, by contrast, symbolises the pioneering spirit of Porsche. This innovative and powerful colour is often seen in the world of motor racing. The material is robust, light and durable.

The one-off car features a specially designed logo in several places. The legendary ‘LongMa’ is a being with a dragon’s head (‘long’) and the body of a horse (‘ma’). It is a symbol of power, strength and auspiciousness, made all the more meaningful as it coincides with the Year of the Dragon in 2024, and the Taycan, derived from two Turkish words meaning ‘soul of a spirited young horse’. The logo can be seen on the sill guards of the front and rear doors, on the door projector and all headrests.
