Introducing 9 LINE OAs for Government Services to Thai Citizens Year-End 2024 Version

LINE Thailand has updated its official LINE Official Accounts for the government services as we approach the end of 2024, aiming to enhance communication and services for over 56 million Thai users. This initiative is designed to simplify digital life by providing a comprehensive channel that effectively reaches all Thais, offering widespread communication, targeted notifications, transaction monitoring and payment, and more. Adding these accounts will undoubtedly make life more convenient.

1. NHSO (สปสช.)​ (ID: @nhso) – National Health Security Office

• This account allows users to check their health insurance rights, including free health check-ups and the ability to verify their Universal Coverage Scheme rights or change service units independently. It connects with the Doctor at Home service for self-assessment of symptoms and provides information on diseases, medications, doctors, and healthcare facilities. It also integrates with DMIND for depression screening using AI technology, available 24/7 for preliminary health assessments and health care education.

2. Social Security Office (สำนักงานประกันสังคม) (ID: @ssothai)

• A central hub for information on benefits for insured individuals, including health check-up entitlements and benefits related to unemployment, childbirth, retirement, disability, or death. Users can conveniently and securely update personal information and request hospital changes while accessing news about their rights and FAQs.

3. OIC Connect (คปภ. รอบรู้) (ID: @oicconnect) – Office of Insurance Commission

• This account provides access to all insurance policies under regulation, featuring a “My Policies” function that organizes policy information from various insurance companies in a card format. Users can check agents/brokers and company addresses, report complaints, and request preliminary compensation in case of vehicle accidents.

• Users can receive updates on severe natural disasters across the country along with useful information such as disaster alerts (fires, floods, storms, earthquake), PM2.5 polluted areas in Bangkok, disaster-risk area checks, emergency contact numbers, nearby hospitals’ information, and self-protection methods during various situations.

• A channel for reporting emergencies or threats such as intimidation or physical harm. Users can easily report incidents via this LINE account 24/7 by sharing incident details and location to ensure accurate assistance from authorities while tracking help in real-time.
