BJC Big C Hosts Special Exhibition of “The 3rd Anniversary of the Normalization of the Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia”

Mr. Aswin and Mrs. Thapanee Techajareonvikul, CEO & President and Senior Executive Vice President of BJC Big C Group, presided over the opening ceremony of “The 3rd Anniversary of the Normalization of the Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia.” The event provides an opportunity for visitors to explore Saudi Arabia’s economic and technological advancements, their rich cultural heritage, and the country’s vision for 2030. Additionally, the exhibition highlights the strong bilateral relations between the two nations across various sectors over the past three years.

The opening ceremony was held on January 26, 2025 at Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri and was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Former Minister of Social Welfare and Former Minister of Labor, Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand and Mrs. Pornpimol Kanchanalak, Former Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The exhibition of “The 3rd Anniversary of the Normalization of the Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia” showcases Saudi Arabia’s culture, tourism, and international relations, as well as key milestones that have brought to strengthening the cooperation between Thailand and Saudi Arabia over the past three years, including:

• His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, paid a royal audience to His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen at the Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall on November 18, 2022.
• E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, led a delegation from the government and the private sector to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from May 15–19, 2022.
• The launch of Saudia Airlines’ direct flight between Saudi Arabia and Thailand on February 28, 2022.
