The Pattaya beach sky is about to come alive once again, with a breathtaking display of giant kites of various sizes and colors flying as far as the eye can see, as Central Pattaya joins hands with leading partners including Pattaya City, the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya Office, Pattaya Marine Department, Pattaya Police Station, Pattaya Tourist Police, Thaitan Kite Team Thailand, Sunsu Muek Groob crispy squid, goodr, Sunbeam Hotel Pattaya, the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), Lumix, M&P World organizer, DJI, Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, Index Living Mall, ASSA Pool Villa Pattaya, Grand Jomtien Palace, Good Goods and many others hosting Thailand’s largest international kite festival, PATTAYA INTERNATIONAL KITE ON THE BEACH 2026, for the fifth consecutive year. The concept for this year is ‘Sky Paradise of Happiness’, with the festival marking the beginning of Central Pattaya’s Summer Fest campaign, inviting everyone to experience a chill-out summer vibe by the sea amid a vibrant display of international kites flying high above Pattaya Beach. Larger than ever; for the first time in Thailand, you will experience a parade of character kites from popular brands, led by MR. SUN kite, the adorable mascot of Central Pattaya, who will make his debut as a giant kite of over 12 meters tall, Sunsu’s Muek Groob kite, goodr’s flamingo kite, a 3-metre WATT-D by PEA kite and over 150 international kites in various designs. These kites will be flown by professional kite flyers from 12 countries worldwide: Germany, France, Colombia, China, Switzerland, Australia, Portugal, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Thailand. The kites will fill the sky above a kilometer-long stretch of Pattaya beach, with their vibrant display and the spectacle of summer, it will become a must-see photo landmark.
